'Jo worked for Gutsy in the summer of 2006 on a commercial documentary project for Mercedes Benz. I found her work and attitude inspirational. 'Full Circuit' is a feature length documentary commissioned by Mercedes-Benz on the launch of their Mercedes-Benz World complex in Brooklands, Weybridge.
'Full Circuit' was filmed and produced by Gutsy who hired me as offline editor using Final Cut Pro. I worked closely with the director and writer, Paul O'brien and Len Dickter, to create an informative and entertaining film on the connections between Mercedes and Brooklands (the adjacent racing circuit and museum to Mercedes-Benz World.) We used a lot of archive footage interspersed with interviews and reconstructions.
The schedule was very tight and we had to work some long nights but I thoroughly enjoyed the process and learnt a lot throughout.
